Books Closure Date For The Declaration Of Final Dividend

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Share Transfer Books and Register of Members of the Company will be closed on 18 November 2004 for the purpose of determining shareholders' entitlement to the final dividend of 0.73 cent per ordinary share (tax exempt under the one-tier corporate tax system) to be paid out on 29 November 2004.

Duly completed and stamped transfers received by the Company's Share Registrar, Barbinder & Co Pte Ltd of 8 Cross Street, #11-00 PWC Building, Singapore 048424 up to 5.00 p.m. on 17 November 2004 will be registered to determine shareholders' entitlements to the said final dividend. Shareholders whose securities accounts with The Central Depository (Pte) Limited ("CDP") are credited with shares in the Company as at 5.00 p.m. on 17 November 2004 will be entitled to the said final dividend.

In respect of shares in securities accounts with CDP, the said final dividend will be paid by the Company to CDP which will in turn distribute the dividend to holders of the securities accounts.
